SPA TREATMENT - CATEGORY  "A"

Treatment in this category generally includes post-operative conditions and other serious medical conditions. The health insurance company covers the medical treatment, accommodation, and meals for the insured patient. Spa Ružbachy provides spa treatment in up to 10 indication groups. A patient may apply for spa treatment through their attending physician. The spa treatment proposal can be issued by a general practitioner or a specialist. The completed spa treatment application must be submitted by the insured person to the branch office of their health insurance company. NEW: Some health insurance companies now allow the spa treatment application to be submitted electronically, which speeds up and simplifies the approval process. After approval, the health insurance company informs the insured person of the result of the approval process and provides a list of spa facilities where the treatment can be carried out. The patient can then arrange the treatment date and accommodation according to the spa’s availability. The insured person sends the approved spa treatment proposal to the selected spa facility. The patient will subsequently receive a written invitation confirming the spa treatment stay. During the spa stay, meals are provided in the White House building through an ordering system, while medical procedures take place in the Balneotherapy building.

Treatment in this category generally includes chronic diseases, for example disorders of the musculoskeletal system, cardiovascular system, and respiratory system. The health insurance company covers the medical treatment for the insured patient, while accommodation and meals are typically paid by the patient. Spa Ružbachy provides spa treatment in up to 8 medical indication groups. A patient may apply for spa treatment through their attending physician. The spa treatment proposal can be issued by a general practitioner or a specialist. The completed spa treatment application must be submitted by the insured person to the branch office of their health insurance company.
